On 30. and 31. 10.2018, REWAFI project team member participated in a working visit of two projects implemented in Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Netherlands). Projects have received co-financing from the EU programs aimed at promoting economic, social and territorial cohesion in the EU regions. The project called „A BRIDGE to high-skilled work for Rotterdam South youth“ focused on unemployment among young people in the South side of Rotterdam. The BRIDGE programme supports schoolchildren to choose vocational studies in growth areas, improving their access to good-quality jobs and helping companies find essential workers. The project called „Amsterdam Smart City“ aimed to test smart technologies that save energy and facilitate sustainable choices by people and businesses in the Amsterdam region. It plans to address the twin objectives of energy conservation and CO2 emission reduction on the one hand and innovation-based economic growth on the other hand.
