ABOUT THE PROJECT

Dissemination of information on EU Cohesion Policy

The project activities focus on the dissemination of the information about EU Cohesion Policy, its history, development, legislation and policy framework, focusing on the results achieved in the EU regions. The dissemination tools are as follows: book, video, infographics, and a pilot test of innovative competition. The proposed content of the book consists of the theoretical, political and legislative bases of the EU Cohesion Policy and practical case studies from the EU regions (from each Member State).

The summary of the book with the most important findings will be processed in the form of an audiovisual tool (video) and infographics. In order to disseminate information on the EU Cohesion Policy, a pilot test of competition will be organized. The test will focus on search for evidence of implemented projects under the EU Cohesion Policy in selected regions. The outputs will be translated into several official languages of the EU and Russian as well.

BOOK, WORKSHEETS, INFOGRAPHIC ................................................................................................... The book titled “Cohesion Policy of the European Union” is designed as the main tool for information measures implemented within the REWAFI project. The content will consist of a theoretical part, focusing in particular on the history and evolution of the EU Cohesion Policy, its legislative and administrative framework. The second part will focus on authentic information on projects implemented in EU regions and funded by EU funds to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion. The tool will be supplemented by worksheets applicable to the learning process and a brief summary product.

WEBSITE, VIDEO ................................................................................................... Project website will be created. Outputs developed in the project will be available on the REWAFI website. It supports efficient dissemination of information and project news related to the EU Cohesion Policy.

FIND

INNOVATIVE COMPETITION ................................................................................................... The competition is for high school students and university students. It will be organized separately in Slovakia and Hungary. The competition focuses on "cohesion chasing" in the region from which the contestant comes from. The objective is to capture positive benefits for the local community.
