Projects have received co-financing from the EU programs aimed at promoting economic, social and territorial cohesion in the EU regions. The project called „Upgraded tram lines improve links between Riga and Skanste“ helps to build new tram lines, modernization of existing lines and improving connections between the neighbourhood of Skanste and the city centre. The project „New infrastructure at Riga hospital to boost health care quality“ improves the quality of inpatient and outpatient health care services and treatment efficiency by ensuring that minimal time is spent on tests and facilities management. The third project „Spikeri quarter transformed into cultural, educational and recreational space“ has contributed to urban development of the previously derelict Spīķeri quarter in central Riga. The project made the land and adjoining riverbank accessible and safe and rented space to businesses and NGOs active in the fields of culture, design, entertainment, food and services.
